Services

01

Variety Trials

Evaluating the effects of genetics and environment is critical to determining the regulatory and commercial viability of new crop varieties. Our network of trial sites has extensive experience with new varieties of cereals, canola, soybeans, and pulses

02

Efficacy Trials

Demonstrating performance of agricultural products under real-world conditions is crucial to ensuring commercial success. We conduct efficacy testing for fertilizers, seed treatments, growth promoters, and pesticides on a wide range of crops

03

Description of Variety Trials

Accurate description of morphological traits of new crop varieties is mandatory for variety registration and plant breeders rights grants in Canada. We conduct Description of Variety trials for wheat, barley, oats, and soybeans

04

Experimental Design and Analysis

A firm foundation is crucial to the success and scientific validity of an agricultural research program. We offer trial design, field data review, and statistical analysis of trial data to ensure delivery of reliable and actionable results for our clients

05

Trial Inspection and Drone Imaging

Site inspections can identify trial issues during the growing season, enabling corrective action or trial termination. Our inspection and drone imaging services provide objective, reliable assessment of trial quality during the growing season

06

Post-Harvest Analysis

Chemical composition of agricultural commodities have become increasingly important in the market. We measure test weight, TKW, thins/plumps, green seed content, protein, fat, Falling Number, beta-glucan, mycotoxins, and other parameters

250+

Trials Completed

40+

Sites Managed

Strip plots for large-scale assessment of a biological seed treatment for early-season vigor enhancement and drought tolerance
Fall rye plots comparing the agronomic performance of potential new cultivars against current market leaders and reference varieties
